Just returned from a short but very pleasant stay at the Ritz Carlton. Very impressed !
Very attentive staff, opulent internal spaces but very down to earth at the same time. They serve afternoon tea here with some of the most amazing cream cakes I've ever had! Nice touches like this were a bit of a theme of my stay here.
Gardens are beautiful, very well looked after and very nice to look out upon or sit in. Inside its quite glitzy and ornate, outside very Arabic with lots of low slung cushions where you can sit and smoke shisha.
There is a really good gym here as well, very well kitted, air conditioned, and you get your own personal trainer as well. Staff use your name here too, which is nice as it makes you feel important.
There is a separate pool here for children and there were a number of families when i visited. There's a kids club here too as I saw it just before I checked out.
I loved it here and I guess couples would too as its so romantic. I'd also say families would feel very welcome and at home here due to the range of facilities on offer.
Very impressed with the hotel, but I guess I was expecting it to be good as Ritz Carlton hotels do have a very good reputation. This one is quite small but very good.
