This hotel exceeded all my expectations,its a traditional hotel that really gives you a feel of Arabia - unlike other hotels in the area which can be luxurious but lack character. It's also very romantic with lots of intimate spaces.
the location is amazing and despite the fact that the hotel is adjacent to the 'trunk of the palm' where they are developing so the construction work is ongoing - HOWEVER DON'T worry!!! This amazingly enough did not detract from our stay at all. The lush vegetation around the pool completely blanked out what was going on beyond the hotel and we couldn't honestly say it was a problem.
It wouldn't put me off visiting again either.
