Outstanding property, possibly the best I've stayed at in the Seychelles, and dripping with 5 star luxuries!!!!! We were told that all rooms come complete with ‘La Prairie’ amenities and 24 hour butler service. Villas seemed to offer complete privacy and certainly ours was not overlooked. The villas are thoughtfully spaced out and not clustered together. The plunge bath was a lovely addition and our sun beds were romantically placed in shallow pools. Food-wise there was 1 gourmet restaurant and an a La Carte one– no dress code here . Food fab! .......Villas also have special ‘in-room’ menus. Maia Spa is incredible and perhaps one of the main reasons why you might choose to stay at this resort. My partner and I had a very good massage here which was well worth it (we've had them before and this ranked amongst the best we've had). We also noticed that the Spa also offers treatments for children. Location wise it was on Anse Louis Beach - good beach area as you'd expect for the Seychelles Resort: Although not a huge resort, due to location of villas being scattered on hillside, golf buggies are used to get around. Thoughtfully built to blend with nature. Instead of up-rooting trees and removing boulders, resort incorporated them and in some cases made a feature of them. Overall I'd say this was definitely more for couples and honeymooners. A very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Those seeking more lively environments should certainly avoid. This is more of a peaceful retreat.
