I went in September last year - of course it was hot but then everything is geared for that. The Summerhouses all have separate check-in with their own team looking after you which gives you the feel of a much more intimate hotel. None of that queueing in reception!
The butler who is assigned to you will do virtually anything; some of our neighbours asked them to run baths and unpack but we thought that was a bit much. We did get him to book trips for us like the desert safari which, incidentally is well worth doing.
We really enjoyed Dubai probably because we took it for what it was - a man-made resort , and basked in the fabulous luxury and service which is truly fantastic

| The restaurants are fantastic and about the same cost as the UK - be careful which alchoholic drinks you order though as these can add up. |
