Amazing Rooms!! - louash

Lebua is a great hotel for families and groups, mainly due to the size of the rooms. It was the largest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Although it is not in the busiest location in Bangkok, this should not deter visitors from staying here as taxi's are so cheap that it costs next to nothing to get around Bangkok. The definate wow factors of this hotel are the size of the hotel rooms and the city view you get from your window and also the Sirocco rooftop bar and restaurant are definately worth a visit.

Tips

There are some great jewellery and silver shops just around the corner from Lebua (Lin's) - well worth a visit and dont be scared to haggle!

Service

The staff here were in abundance and couldn't do enough to help and make you feel welcome. Check in was relaxed and efficient and guests are taken to a seating area and given a cold towel and drink whilst all the formalities are complete. Overall gr

Location

As I was part of an organised group we have transport provided everywhere we went so it was a bit difficult to judge how close it was to the skytrain. There isnt much around Lebua in the way of bars and restaurants, this is probably the only negativ

Room Size

Possibly the largest hotel room I have ever stayed in, there was a joke amongst my group that one end of the room was in a different time zone to the other end! Great for families as rooms can comfortably sleep 2 adults and 2 children, the main bedro

Room Cleanliness

Rooms were cleaned every day and turndown service at night

Pool

Unfortunately I didnt get chance to use the pool but from what I saw of it, it seemed a reasonable size. As with most city hotels, the pool was in the shade later on in the day

Restaurants

Lebua is well known in Bangkok for its Sirocco bar and restaurant, the highest in Bangkok on the 64th floor. As the bar area is surrounded by glass this does have such a wow factor and the view from the top is amazing (see photo's!). The best time
